Liaozhai Story:Pianpian

Dissolute Luo Zifu, riddled with sores and abandoned, is saved by the fairy Pianpian. She heals him in a spring, makes clothes from plantain leaves, and gives him a cloud for a bed. When he lusts after her friend, his clothes instantly turn back into dead leaves, shaming him. He reforms and lives happily until homesickness sends him back to the human world. The story teaches that redemption requires constant self-discipline.
